THE TAWNY OWL
Tawny owls can often be found in woodlands. They eat small mammals and birds, and even frogs, fish, insects and worms. The hoot of the tawny owl can be heard in late autumn and throughout the winter season.

THE SLUG Slugs are similar to snails, but they don’t have a shell. They’re not very fond of cold weather, so when it’s colder than 5° they’ll snuggle down deep into the soil to keep warm.
