THE BARN OWL
Barn owls are nocturnal. Their heart-shaped faces make them easily recognisable and they can often be spotted in the countryside. Barn owls hunt for their food and eat small mammals such as mice, voles and shrews.

THE SLUG Slugs are similar to snails, but they don’t have a shell. They’re not very fond of cold weather, so when it’s colder than 5° they’ll snuggle down deep into the soil to keep warm.
